Rosebud Drop In Class Starting March 3
Tomorrow we are starting our drop-in Parent & Child class for newborns through one year of age. Class will take place on Tuesdays, March 3, 10, 17, and 24, from 12:30-2:00 pm. Cost per class is $20. Please help us spread the word.

Parent & Child Drop-In Class for Children age 1 to 3 years on Thursdays
Our Parent & Child Drop-In Thursday classes continue through the month of March. NEW DATES 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26.
For just $30, experience a Morning Glory class for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children/grandchildren age 1 to 3 years. The class takes place on Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Classes follow the normal rhythm of our Parent & Child classes, with bread making, circle games, play in our beautiful classroom and outdoor playground. Limited to 10 families per class. Nursery and Kindergarten Nature Walk for Current & Interested Families
October 9th at 1:30 – 2:30
Join us for an outdoor nature walk to explore our historic and beautiful campus and learn more about Waldorf School at Moraine Farm’s nursery and kindergarten programs. Led by our early childhood teachers, this outdoor exploration provides interested and current families and students a glimpse into the joy, wonder, and health-giving qualities of nature-based education. This outdoor open house will begin in the nursery play yard on October 9th at 1:30 – 2:30 with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest. Windows into the World of Waldorf Open House October 5
On Saturday, October 5, we will host an Open House starting at 10 am. Experience how Waldorf’s time-tested approach to education promotes a learning environment that allows for self-discovery, creative problem solving and high achievement.
The upcoming event, Windows Into the World of Waldorf, is an excellent way for prospective and current families to experience what a Waldorf education offers, how a child learns in a Waldorf environment and what makes Waldorf School at Moraine Farm unique. Visitors may choose from a series of 30-minute classes, specific to a range of grade levels. While in class, experience what it’s like to be taught in the Waldorf method and see how engaging it is to be a student at the school.
Homeschooling families can also get a feel for the programming we have available for homeschooled students.

Saturday Outdoor Open House June 1 10am
Didn’t have a chance to join our last Nursery and Kindergarten Outdoor Open House? Come Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 to 11:30 am and explore with our nursery and kindergarten teachers what Moraine Farm has to offer young children.
The Moraine Farm campus offers countless nature exploration and learning experiences for the young child. The nursery and kindergarten children are immersed in the wonder of the natural world for 2 to 3 hours per day in all seasons. This outdoor open house will begin in the nursery play yard with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest. This outdoor open house provides interested families a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature based education.
Please come prepare to join us with walking shoes or hiking books, water bottles, and proper protective clothing. Babies in baby-carriers are recommended rather than strollers as the trails can be tricky to maneuver.

Nursery, Kindergarten and First Grade Open House Saturday February 2, 10 am to 12 pm
This Saturday, February 2 starting at 10 am, is our Nursery, Kindergarten and First Grade Open House. During this Open House, guests experience 30-minute classes in Nursery, Kindergarten, First Grade Literacy and German. Rosebud Newborn Parent & Child Registration Still Open
Our Rosebud baby classes are for parents with newborns up to age 6 months. The class is led by experienced early childhood educators. Parents will learn lullabies and games to play with their babies. Teachers will share observation practices to strengthen parents’ intuitive knowledge to help them better understand and care for their baby. Themes such as developmental stages, sleep, warmth, and your new role as a parent will be explored. Freshly baked bread and tea are served for parents and a nurturing home environment welcomes and surrounds adults and babies.
The 6-week program meets on Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:00 pm beginning next week, October 25, and ending on December 13. Cost $150. Register for the class here.
