Mr. Hogan’s Sabbatical and World Travel

Dear Waldorf Community Members,

I am grateful for this opportunity to formally announce my plans to take a ten-month sabbatical with my family beginning in August 2020 and ending in June 2021.

I have been a parent at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm since 2011 and have worked at the school for eight of those years. In these past eight years, I have had the privilege of working with some of the warmest and most dedicated people I have ever met, and the absolute joy of watching my children (Aoife, now in second grade and Isabel, now in fifth grade) grow into themselves (more…)

Outdoor Campus Improvements

Outdoor Campus Improvements

The Outdoor Life Committee (OLC) has been working hard over the summer to create beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance the quality of life at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. Our campus has been beautified over the past few months in two very distinct ways for which we are incredibly grateful.

First, we would like to acknowledge alumni parent Anita Brewer-Siljeholm for catalyzing a vision, informed by design ideas from faculty, staff, and community, to transform our former handicapped parking area into a community gathering space (“The Quad”). This vision has now become a reality thanks to Anita’s hard work, determination, and enormous generosity. We also want to recognize the great efforts of Jack Hogan, our facilities manager, in bringing phase one of this two-part phase plan for the campus to life.
