The first full day for Grades 1-8 will be September 4, with doors opening at 8:00 am. Parents are invited to stay for the opening-day assembly and Rose Ceremony which begins at 8:30 am and runs about an hour. All parents are welcome to join us in the Trayes Room starting at 8:00 am for coffee and greetings prior to the start of assembly and ceremonies.

For nursery and kindergarten students, families will be staying with their children on September 4 and will leave with their children after their welcoming ceremonies.

– Buttercup Nursery and Kindergarten 5-day programs will have their welcoming ceremonies from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

– Daisy and Snowdrop 3-day Nursery will have their welcoming ceremonies from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

The first full day for Nursery and Kindergarten will be September 5, with the school opening at 8:00 am.

What is the Rose Ceremony?

The traditional Rose Ceremony is a school tradition of the eighth grade students presenting a rose to the first grade students as both a warm welcome into the elementary school, and as a symbol of the relationship they will begin to build as “Buddies” to those students.
