January is winding down. We can’t wait for February because February means more gatherings and events with you! By popular request, we are planning another Class Parent Gathering. The first one was full of productive conversation, sharing ideas across the generations of classes doesn’t happen very often. We’ve carved a new pathway for communication and that is something!
You will want to think about what your community association has to offer you. From our upcoming Eco-friendly Cleaning Class to our Lending Library and our annual fundraiser, the Pi Day Pie Auction, we are busy and seeking help. Please let us know your availability and we will find a way to include you in the backstage production. That’s where the real bonding takes place. Visit the community space and signing up for an activity. See the center panel of the bulletin board for the sign-up sheets.
By way of reminder, your WCA officers include Emily Reed and Linda Wrinn as co-chairs, Leah Mawson as Secretary and Despina Andronikidis as Treasurer.

It’ll be fun! We need volunteers to take home some natural cleaning recipes to trial and home. More than one person can trial a recipe and share their results. Next WCA General Meeting
Tuesday, February 11, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Trayes Room
More crafting? Yes. Every meeting will have this creative and charitable outlet. An article pertaining to a topic of interest is also part of every meeting and guest speakers are always a possibility. All parents, faculty, alumni families, parent-child parents and homeschooling parents are welcome. You may utilize our childcare if you RSVP to us so we can plan ahead.
Save the date!
Pi Day Pie Auction – Saturday, March 14, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Oh, you’re gonna want some pie! And we have lots of it. Join us for laughs, wine, appetizers and pie!
Thanks go out to Ken Katz, Chris Dowley and Melissa Rodrigues for their contributions to our earth oven this past fall. Thanks to them we have shelter, warmth and storage!
Lastly, but not least, we share the verse we speak at each meeting…
“A healthy social life is found only when, in the mirror of each soul, the whole community finds its reflection, and when, in the whole community, the virtue of each one is living.”
– Rudolf Steiner
