WCA Presents: Felting Adult Workshop October 26
Celebrate Autumn with this fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of felting. This workshop is for all skill levels. Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist, will teach us needle felting. Everyone will bring home a handmade pumpkin. $40 workshop fee includes instruction and materials. Spend time with old friends and new, enjoy good conversation and a delightful breakfast snack.
Toddler Shoemaking Workshop November 17, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Be creative, be inspired by Heather Collis Puro, handwork teacher, and other shoemakers in training. Shoes are made from vegetable tanned leather with a natural rubber sole, beautiful and comfortable. Basic sewing skills are all you need for this simple, straightforward technique. Bring home shoes for your little one – handmade by you! $50 workshop fee includes one pair of toddler shoes and patterns to make more shoes. The workshop will take place at the main school in the Handwork classroom. Limited to 12 attendees, register soon! Adults only.
