During our presentation about Media and Our Children last Thursday, Josh Golin, Executive Director of the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood, reminded us that from April 29- May 5, a nation-wide initiate called Screen-Free Week, invites us to unplug from our digital devices and reconnect with the world around us. Both parents and kids can use this week to reconsider the value of screen-based entertainment in their lives and establish year-round screen-free habits. Let us know what your family does instead of screen time. Together we can suggest new ways to spend quality, screen-free time.
