Our Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program is still accepting summer participants. We have about 9 children signed up for each session.

For a limited time, we are offering families the opportunity to enroll in just the first week (June 24 – 28) of the first session of Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program. If you are interested in taking advantage of this offer, please contact Anita Haller-O’Neil this week.

The Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program follows the same rhythm of the current nursery and kindergarten program with the benefit of being outdoors for most of the day. Lead by experienced Waldorf educator, Michael Mansur, the Nursery Kindergarten Summer Program gives your nursery and kindergarten age child (3.5 to 6) the opportunity to experience seasonally and developmentally appropriate summer fun activities. Our two-week summer sessions are a complete offering, but together (4 sessions total) will also be a cohesive experience. Click below to see the list of themes for each two-week session.

Learn more and register on our website.

Sowing the seeds (Gardening) June 24 – July 5*
Woodland Wonders (Hiking/exploration) July 8 – 19
Water is Life! (Shoreline adventure/water activities) July 22 – August 2
Harvest the Joy (Gardening/homesteading) August 5 – 16

The two-week session allows younger children to fully arrive in this emotionally secure and predictable setting, and experience the wonderful atmosphere of beauty and warmth here on Moraine Farm. Thoughtful building of trust and confidence ensures a smooth transition to the summer preschool, and creates an ongoing experience that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

The cost of this program is $750/ two-week. 8:30am to 1:30 pm with aftercare options available.
