Our very own Marshunda Smith will be conducting a collection of string orchestra pieces on Saturday October 23rd from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The performance will take place at Second Congregational Church (35 Conant Street, Beverly, MA) and all are encouraged to attend! The pieces being presented were originally composed for various instruments or voices, and many are performed today in ways that are different from their original composition. Each selection on the program will be presented with the history of its origin and the tidbits that make them fascinating pieces of art to know about.
