Wet Felted Eggs and Nest

Join instructor Elizabeth Stubbs for a spring themed felting workshop! Participants will wet-felt a charming nest and eggs to display on their nature table. They will also dye a 30″ square silk with Indigo and Osage Orange to create a glorious green color in joyful anticipation of spring. Enrollment is limited to 12. Please bring a towel. All materials will be provided. Workshop fee is $45, plus $20 for materials.
About the Instructor: Elizabeth Stubbs is a felt artist living and working in Nahant, Massachusetts. She has a BFA from Boston University School for the Arts in painting, and has spent many years as a fine artist, illustrator, and teacher. She also holds a MEd from Antioch University in Early Childhood with a Waldorf certificate. It was during this teacher training that she was first exposed to the art of felt making and has been making felt for over 20 years. Elizabeth taught nursery students at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm and retired in 2015. She teaches felt making classes and workshops in the greater Boston area.
