As the school year kicks off, there are so many ways to get involved with our community! Below are some volunteer opportunities that we are currently recruiting for.

Outdoor Life Committee: We are so fortunate to have a beautiful campus, abundant with flowers and plant life, to call home! If you’re interested in helping to keep our campus looking lovely, consider joining the Outdoor Life Committee. This committee plans and maintains the gardens around our school. Development and Enchanted Fair Committees: This committee organizes many exciting events in support of our school’s fundraising efforts throughout the year. The committee meets once a month for an hour-1.5 hours via Zoom to plan with meetings more often in the lead up to large events like the Enchanted Fair. School Store Social Media Manager: Are you savvy with your socials? We’re looking for a volunteer to support the social media presence and advertising of the Enchanted Caravan. Reach out to Natalie DiBello at schoolstore@waldorfmoraine.org for more details.

Soccer Coach: We are looking for a volunteer soccer coach for this upcoming fall season. The team practices twice a week, typically Tuesday and Thursday, on weeks without games and games can be scheduled on various days. Contact Deann Reyes-Wangh at dreyeswangh@waldorfmoraine.org to learn more.

Basketball Coach: Soccer not your game? We are looking for a volunteer basketball coach for this upcoming winter season. Beginning in November, the team practices twice a week, typically Tuesday and Thursday, on weeks without games and games can be scheduled on various days. Waldorf Community Association: The WCA wants YOU to help make our community experience a richer and more fulfilling one! Volunteers will work together to plan speaker series, educational and cultural events, and other social gatherings throughout the school year.
