Mouse Felting Class

9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of needle felting. Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist will provide gentle, hands on guidance to attendees as we create our mice. All skill levels welcome. Elizabeth will teach us sweet verses and movements to enjoy with our mouse. $40 workshop fee includes instruction and materials. Spend time with old friends and new, enjoy good conversation and a delicious breakfast snack. This workshop will take place at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. Limited to 12 attendees, register soon! Adults only.

Wood Carving Class

Saturday, March 28
12:30 am – 4:00 pm

Learn how to carve a spoon from fresh cut wood. This course is designed for beginners and will cover wood anatomy, how to axe out a spoon blank from a tree or tree branch, knife holds and techniques, basic sharpening skills, as well as drying and finishing.

Each student will walk away with their very own cooking spoon as well as receive sandpaper and oil/beeswax blend for finishing.

*If you are left handed, please let us know in the advance so that we can bring the appropriate tools for you.
