The final presentation of eighth grade projects is one of the unique rites of passage for eighth graders at the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. After a year of independent study, this year’s 8th graders will take the stage to present their projects to all of you!
The independent projects are an opportunity to study and experience something of his/her own choosing over an extended period of time. It stretches the students to plan ahead, acquire a new skill, and sharpen their executive functioning skills. It allows them an opportunity to pursue a passion or curiosity that they may not have had an opportunity to pursue otherwise.
