The new solar panel is now up and running in the Quad, designed to run the rope lights attached to the canopy structure using 100% solar energy. These cheerful lights will brighten the space underneath, turning on automatically each afternoon and evening at no cost in fossil fuel consumption. (more…)

Parent & Child Drop-In Class Thursdays
Our Parent & Child Drop-In Thursday classes continue through the month of February. Experience a Waldorf Parent & Child Class for just $30! Morning Glory class is for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with children/grandchildren age 1 to 3 years. The class takes place on Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 am, on 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/27. Classes follow the normal rhythm of our Parent & Child classes, with bread making, circle games, play in our beautiful classroom and outdoor playground. Limited to 10 families per class. Dining for Dollars at Flatbread Pizza January 28
Join us for our next Dining for Dollars at Flatbread Pizza in Salem. Onn January 28 come support a local business that appreciates farm to fork like we do. Dine together with your school family and friends and Flatbread will give us a portion of all pizzas sold between 5-10 PM! We will even have a 50/50 raffle so come join the fun!

Our 100 Acts of Service Project is off to a great start thanks to so many community members jumping right in and sharing opportunities for others to join! Each week more leaves are added to the tree in our front entryway describing the various activities folks are engaging in. WCA Update for Week of January 27
January is winding down. We can’t wait for February because February means more gatherings and events with you! By popular request, we are planning another Class Parent Gathering. The first one was full of productive conversation, sharing ideas across the generations of classes doesn’t happen very often. We’ve carved a new pathway for communication and that is something!

Please bring your craft projects to our Parent Handwork Meet Ups on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, and January 29, 2020, from 8:10 until 10:00 am. We will be meeting in the Community Space on the First Floor across from the Parent and Child Classroom. Children are welcome. Please bring your current craft project to work on.
