Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh is offering private violin lessons at The Music Asylum, 74 Martin Street in Essex. Cost is $140 per month for a 1/2 hour lesson, or $260 for an hour. This guarantees your child’s weekly time slot PLUS free or discounted access to other opportunities at The Music Asylum such as student showcases and workshops.

About Yaeko, a gifted musician and teacher…
Yaeko received a BA in Music from The New England Conservatory of Music in Contemporary Improvisation in 2002. Since graduating Yaeko has been a member of the world renowned Klezmer Conservatory Band (KCB). As part of the KCB, Yaeko has worked with many amazing musicians such as Itzhak Perlman and Stevie Wonder. Recently, Yaeko recorded her debut album.
Yaeko grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts and began violin lessons at age 3. She was classically trained at The New England Conservatory Preparatory School under Fudeko Takahashi. As a young woman, she received many awards and soloed with many ensembles and orchestras in Massachusetts.
Yaeko’s passionate and artistic musical style is influenced by her multicultural upbringing: her mother and father immigrated from France and El Salvador respectively in the 1960’s.
