Our 100 Acts of Service Project is off to a great start thanks to so many community members jumping right in and sharing opportunities for others to join! Each week more leaves are added to the tree in our front entryway describing the various activities folks are engaging in. We already have about twenty service acts that have been submitted and recorded on our tree! Some completed projects include:
- 6th-grade buddy reading
- Leaf-raking
- Fabric cutting for reusable sanitary products
- Making winter bird feeders
- Making and sending cards to a young patient at Children’s Hospital
If you perform an act of service on your own, or with your family, please let Branigan Reed know about it by emailing breed@waldorfmoraine.org. If you have pictures from the activity, send those along too! Together we can easily meet our goal of 100 acts of service by the end of our school year!
